This version is meant to be a direct replacement for The Bikkel 500 and Bikkel 500Z versions, delivered by Klemko.
MicroDim is designed by the Caisson company. What distinguishes this dimmer from other dimmers on the market is its extremely small size and versatility. Furthermore, the dimmer is equiped with a micro-controller that activates a number of pre-programmed functions. MircoDim is operated through the electric switch somewhere in the power-line. This is a great advantage since in this way MicroDim can be installed apart from the switch and used with a second switch in a "hotel" configuration.
The dimmer features 5 different functions;
Softstart, Dimming, Slow Off, Random, Lighthouse.
Technical specifications:
Caisson MicroDim is composed of housing where the print is molded with a "resin". Two connecting wires come out of this housing.

Resistive Load: 15…..500 Watt
Inductive Load: 30…..250 Watt
Capacitive Load: 30…..250 Watt
Operating Voltage: 200…..240 Volt~
Max. Inrush Current: 20A

Test specifications: CE, EMC (TÜV Rheinland 21113060_001), CISPR 12, IEC60669-2-1
Application: in-built, indoors
When used, the dimmer must always be built in and should not be directly touchable.
With loads in excess of 400 Watts the dimmer needs to be cooled through forced convection.
Due to high loads the dimmer can warm up. If touched, it can cause injury. The housing warms up due to high power handling, this is normal.
Even if the lamp does not light up, there could still be hazardous voltage in the lamp or in the dimmer.
